The Stone Gallery Exhibitions

The Stone Gallery currently holds 2 regular exhibitions a Year. The "Exhibition of British Designer jewellers" in May and June and "The Stone Gallery Christmas Collection" In November and December.

Exhibition Of British Designer Jewellers

Displayed at the same time as Oxfordshire Artweeks, an annual event where craftsmen around the county open their studio doors to the public, this exhibition brings many works by the country's best designer jewellers to the Cotswolds. Artists who take part can quite often be seen at other prestigious events in the craft world such as the Goldsmiths Fair and the Craft Councils "Origin" exhibition in London and closer to Home Art In Action at Waterperry gardens, Oxfordshire.
The exhibition is like its name suggests, predominantly about Jewellery and silverware, but we continue to exhibit other disciplines as well, including Glassware, sculpture and hanging art.

This Years Date Will include the Celebrations of our 25th Anniversary of being based in Burford: Saturday May 22nd - Sunday June 27th 2010

The Stone Gallery Christmas Collection

This is a collection of works in various media that we bring together for the Christmas period. Quite often we like to include new names to the Gallery who havent exhibited with us in the past and our aim is to give the customer the opportunity to visit the exhibition and be able to find gifts for both loved ones and themselves which they can present with the knowledge that the item has been handmade with great thought and that they are supporting craftsmen using traditinal and modern techniques alike.
